UGC officials meet protesting DU students

Officials of the University Grants Commission (UGC) today met protesting DU students who are against the scrapping of the Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP).

Amit Kumar, a B.Tech student said, "We have gone to meet joint secretary. B.Tech students will be worst affected with this. They said they would consider our demands and our demands are of top priority. Our protest will continue."

The B.Tech students have been protesting the scrapping of the FYUP as the fate of their course has been hanging in uncertainty.
