UK Deputy PM Nick Clegg visits Bangla Sahib Gurudwara

Deputy Prime Minister of United Kingdom Nick Clegg, who is on a three-day trip to India, today visited the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in New Delhi.

Clegg was presented a memento by the Gurudwara authorities.

Earlier today, Clegg had also paid tribute at the 'Amar Jawan Jyoti', the memorial dedicated to the Unknown Soldier.

This is Clegg's first visit to India. He is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley during the day.

Clegg is leading a 50-member trade delegation to promote investment in the British food, retail, education, defence and aerospace sector.

Clegg will also be visiting Mumbai and Bangalore.
