A dominatrix from the UK, who chained up, gagged and whipped men, was fined after her sex dungeon was found to be flouting fire laws.

She was asked to cough up 5,000 pounds for the offences and ordered to pay 3,000 pound costs and a 120-pounds victim charge.

Lorraine White's sex dungeon apparently caught fire and fire crews were called in to the building on Vauxhall industrial estate, Stockport, on October 30, 2012, after a maintenance man reported a basement fire, Daily Express reported.

The fire crew had had trouble to enter the Medusa club because of the locked doors but eventually managed to enter and discovered the sex dungeon.

When questioned, White admitted that she did not know that she was responsible for fire safety arrangements.

The place had only one manually operated fire alarm and one fire exit was locked permanently.

Fire investigators also found several cans of nitrous oxide, laughing gas, which her clients used to get high.

The investigators later found that the fire had been sparked by a leaking gas heater.
