Ukraine's foreign minster Andrii Deshchytsia has reportedly said that the chances of Ukraine going to war with Russia were becoming higher.
Deshchytsia said on ABC's "This Week" that Ukraine was very much concerned about the deployment of Russian troops along Ukraine's eastern borders.
The country's acting foreign minister said that while Ukraine has been resorting to peaceful and diplomatic means to deal with Russia, the people were also ready to defend their homeland, Fox News reported.
Earlier, Russian troops stormed an air base in Crimea in an apparent attempt to solidify Russian control over the peninsula.
The invading troops reportedly fired warning shots into the air and set off stun grenades, and then lined up Ukrainians in one place after they made it inside the base.
