Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has vowed not to give up 'a single centimeter from Ukrainian land to Russia.
The comments from Yatsenyuk came as Ukraine solemnly commemorated the 200th anniversary of the birth of its greatest poet and nationalist Taras Shevchenko.
According to news.com.au, separatists in Crimea have kept up pressure for unification with Moscow.
Yatsenyuk told a crowd gathered at the Kiev statue that Ukraine's fathers and grandfathers have spilt their blood for this land. And the country won't budge a single centimetre from Ukrainian land. Let Russia and its president know this.
