Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has accused Russia of its direct involvement in the sniper fire in Kiev's central Independence Square, Maidan that killed dozens one year ago.
According to BBC, Poroshenko was speaking at an event that marked the first anniversary of the Maidan killings that toppled the former President Viktor Yunukovych.
Russia however, denies all accusations calling it "nonsense".
Hundreds of people had died in the violence in Maidan killings one year ago.
Poroshenko told the victims' relatives that the organisation of groups of foreign snipers was led by the Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov on the Maidan.
