United Nations chief Ban Ki-moon urged nations on Tuesday to avoid panic over Ebola outbreak and bring it under control.
The UN chief appointed British physician David Nabarro to assess the world body's strategy as the UN coordinator.
According to News24, Ban said that the panic and fear have to be avoided in order to prevent the Ebola virus.
He also said that people could survive the disease with knowledge, will and actions.
The disease has reportedly killed 1,013 people till now including a Spanish priest and a U.S. woman.
