Australia have called in uncapped pacer Scott Boland as a replacement for injured Nathan Coulter-Nile for the Boxing Day Test match against West Indies.

Confirming the omission of Coulter-Nile for the second Test, Cricket Australia physiotherapist David Beakley said that the 28-year-old had dislocated his right shoulder and that he would not be available for the next match.

Nathan suffered injury on his right shoulder while fielding in the Big Bash Twenty20 League for the Perth Scorchers on Monday, Sport24 reported.

Boland, who appeared in 27 domestic matches, was earlier named as a shadow player in the first Test in Hobart, which Australia won by an innings and 212 runs.

Australia are currently leading the series 1-0 against West Indies and the two sides will next play in Melbourne (from December 26) followed by the third Test in Sydney, starting from January 3.
