Former Minister of state for Home and Congress leader RPN Singh on Friday said it was unfortunate to see the ruling NDA regime 'flip-flop' on the issue of terrorism and not being able to send a strong message to Pakistan.

"It is extremely unfortunate to see the position of the government regarding Pakistan, the flip flops that the government of India is taking doesn't give a strong message to Pakistan," said Singh.

Singh further too many of acts of terror have taken place on Indian soil since the talks in Ufa, Russia for the government to go ahead with the NSA talks.

"There has been attack in Gurudaspur after 20 years, a terrorist was caught in Jammu, the soldiers were killed on the borders, but the government remains quiet on all of these issues," said Singh.

National Security Advisers Ajit Doval and Sartaj Aziz are scheduled to meet in New Delhi on August 23 and 24.
