External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday continued to hold bilateral talks with her foreign counterparts on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Swaraj held a bilateral meeting with the Foreign Minister of Suriname Yldiz Deborah Pollack-Beighle, and another one with Foreign Minister of Estonia Sven Mikser.
She also met Frank Bainimarama, the Prime Minister of Fiji.
Earlier, Nepal's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, held a meeting with Swaraj at the United Nations headquarters. Discussions were held on matters of bilateral concern and interest during the meeting.
The External Affairs Minister was also slated to meet her Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi on the sidelines of the UNGA. However, after increasing reports of violence on police and army personnel in Jammu and Kashmir, the meeting was called off.
Apart from participating in the General Debate, Swaraj, during her jam-packed schedule, will hold a total of over 30 bilateral meetings as part of her visit to the United States.
