ANI Islamabad

The office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCHR) has offered to send fact-finding missions to both Indian administered Kashmir and Pakistan-administered Kashmir.

The Dawn quoted Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria, as saying on Thursday that Pakistan is open to the idea.

Tensions between Pakistan and India have been running high since the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen militant Burhan Wani sparked off protests on the Indian side of Kashmir. So far, over 60 people have died in clashes between protesters and Indian law enforcement authorities.
