Union Minister for Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal will visit Netherlands on August 22 to invite Dutch Government and business for World Food India 2017.
During her visit, Harsimrat will be meeting Dutch Minister for Agriculture Martijn van Dam.
She will also be addressing a Roadshow on World Food India 2017, a mega international investment and sourcing event in the Indian food sector. The roadshow is being jointly hosted by the Embassy of India, VNO-NCW, Rabo Bank and KPMG at the Rabo Bank headquarters in Utrecht.
The Roadshow will be attended by heads of leading Dutch companies involved in the food processing sector. Presentations will be made on investment opportunities in India's food processing sector at the Roadshow.
She will visit and pay respects to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi outside the library at Utrecht University along with the Deputy Mayor of Utrecht, Kriejkamp and representatives of the Indian community in the Netherlands.

Harsimrat will be accompanied by senior officials of India's Ministry of food Processing Industries and a business delegation of representatives from the Confederation of Indian Industry and KPMG India.
World Food India 2017 is being organised by the Government of India from November 3 -5, 2017 in New Delhi. The event aims to bring global and Indian leaders across the food processing industry and value chain on one platform.
The Minister's visit is aimed at informing Dutch companies of the numerous opportunities in India and to invite them to participate in the World Food India and to provide their expertise as well as invest in post-harvest management, capacity expansion, research & development and skill development in India.
