'Jurassic World 2' has been slated for June 2018 release, Universal studio has announced.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the dino flick will see Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprise their roles while director Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, who did a rewrite on the first film, pen the script.
Trevorrow is not expected to return to direct but will serve as an executive producer alongside Steven Spielberg.
'Jurassic World' has proven to be a blockbuster for Universal and is now the No. 3 domestic release of all time, and the No. 3 worldwide release of all time.
Till date, the record breaking film has grossed 1.5 billion dollars worldwide.
