Veteran batsman Younis Khan has said that he is still not satisfied with his achievement despite becoming Pakistan's new highest Test run-scorer.

The 37-year-old said that he might be satisfied if he reaches 10,000 runs, adding that he always wanted to be remembered as a proud Pakistani batsman, the Express Tribune reported.

Younis asserted that his father had been the greatest motivation for him and he was the one who inspired him to work harder.

Younis surpassed Javed Miandad's tally of 8,832 runs on the opening day of the opening Test of the three-match series against England at Abu Dhabi.
