A meeting of UP ministers has been convened today at Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's residence.
It is being reported that some ministers could also face the sack for the party's dismal performance in the recently held general elections.
The poor law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, which has come under fire after a recent spate of rapes, could also be an agenda of discussion.
The SP managed to win only 5 five out of 80 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, out of which Mulayam Singh Yadav won two seats. The rest were won by his daughter-in-law, Dimple Yadav and his two nephews.
