Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) aspirants today staged a protest at Mukherjee Nagar area of New Delhi.

The protesters not only went on fast but also threatened to hold a semi nude protest and also to burn their admit cards.

"We are planning to do a semi nude protest so that we can show the government that the person who is willing to become a good official now wants to get down to this level to fight for his demands. We want to send a message to them that they should definitely fulfill our demands as soon as possible," said a UPSC aspirant Arvind Kumar.

"Apart from this we have also decided that in the evening all the UPSC aspirants will download their admit cards from the internet and will burn it here so that the government gets this message that our demands need to be fulfilled as soon as possible," he added.

Aspiring UPSC students have been protesting against the exam saying there is a need to change the second paper as it makes it difficult for people coming from rural areas of Hindi-speaking states to answer the papers.

The students argue that the questions asked in language comprehension skills are asked in English and no Hindi translations are provided. They want this to be changed.

Yesterday, the National Students Union of India (NSUI) had staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in support of the UPSC candidates who are opposing CSAT in their exams.
