The US is offering fresh rewards worth 5 million dollars each for tip-off on the location of four top members of the Pakistan-based Haqqani network and has doubled the bounty for information on the group's leader to 10 million dollars.
The bounty offers were announced by the State Department's Rewards for Justice program on Wednesday.
According to the Dawn, the Obama administration has offered 10 million dollars reward for information on the group's leader Sirajuddin Haqqani, while the 5 million dollars rewards are being offered for his relatives Aziz Haqqani, Khalil al-Rahman Haqqani and Yahya Haqqani, as well as Abdul Rauf Zakir.
A Taliban-affiliated group, the Haqqanis also have an alliance with the al Qaeda.
The network is accused of carrying out numerous cross-border assaults from their base in North Waziristan, Pakistan.
The group is also responsible for the 19-hour attack on the US Embassy in Kabul and the nearby ISAF headquarters in September 2011.
