The Texas-based Deep Ellum Brewery is under harsh criticism for a marketing campaign for its newest beer - called "Dumb Blonde."

According to a UK-based website the advertised message read that the new beer "goes down easy."

More outbursts erupted, as the can features an image of a doll that is dressed in a blonde wig, Washington Times reported.

Genevieve Cato wrote on her political blog, Burn Orange Report that the company's use of sexist comparison of women to alcohol is disappointing and insulting to their female patrons.

She further wrote that it's unacceptable and unnecessary for breweries to use such language to sell their products.
