US child rapist avoids jail over 'not faring well behind bars' claim

A man from Delware, who had been convicted of raping his three-year-old daughter was able to dodge judge ruled that he "will not fare well" in prison.

State Superior Court judge Jan Jurden suggested that the convict Robert H. Richards IV, who was charged with fourth-degree rape in 2009, would benefit more from treatment, the Huffington Post.

The judge added that Richards would benefit from participating in a sex offender's rehabilitation program rather than serving prison time.
