US, Cuba hold highest level meeting after more than 50 years

US Secretary of State John Kerry and Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez have held highest level meeting between the two countries in over 50 years.

According to BBC, they held discussion in Panama after arriving there for a summit.

Meanwhile, US reportedly recommended that Cuba be removed from the list of states believed to be sponsoring terrorism.

In the coming days, US President Barack Obama and Cuban leader Raul Castro are also due to meet on the sidelines of the summit.
