The recent theft of highly sensitive US military equipments from Libya includes dozens of crucial weapons, which are now in possession of militia groups aligned with terror organizations and the Muslim Brotherhood.

The stolen equipments were used for training in Libya by the US Special Forces.

According to State Department and military sources, dozens of highly armored vehicles provided by the US, called GMV's, are now missing.

Other equipments which are missing include roughly 100 Glock pistols and more than 100 M4 rifles, apart from night-vision goggles, Fox News reports.

One of the sources said that it is not just the equipment but the capability, which now rests in the hands of dangerous groups as they worry that the sensitive equipment will be used by these groups in an attempt to overthrow the government and install a more hardline Muslim leadership.

According to the report, the US developed training camp on the outskirts of Tripoli has been taken over by one of the militia groups who are hoarding weapons, and is being used in preparation for an attack on the new Libyan government.
