Navy Yard shooter Aaron Alexis, who massacred a dozen people on Monday, was reportedly dumped by a Thai woman two months ago.

Alexis had worked for three years as a deliveryman and waiter at the Happy Bowl Thai restaurant in Fort Worth, Texas, and paid regular visits to Wat Busaya Dhammavanaram Meditation Center, the New York Post reports.

The owner of the restaurant, Nutpisit Suthamtewakul, said Alexis visited Thailand for about 45 days in 2012 to improve his language skills and learn about Thai culture, but instead went to massage parlors, chased women, and developed a crush on one particular female.

However, the Thai lady scorned him two months ago, when he invited her back to U.S. to live with him in his cottage.

The troubled Navy contractor felt it was because the woman didn't like black people, Suthamtewakul said.

The head monk at the meditation center, Kasem Pundisto, said Alexis was looking for something else than religion and peace.
