U.S. news channel has apologized for wrongly reporting the names of the pilots onboard the Asiana flight 214, which crashed at San Francisco International Airport on July 6.
The channel KTVU apologised for the error after it realized than an intern on a show had provided fake names of the Asiana pilots to the viewers, stuff.co.nz reports.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) issued its own apology for racially offensive declaration of names of the pilots on the channel.
