United States National Security Adviser (NSA) Susan Rice has reached Islamabad to finalise the agenda of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's visit to Washington in October.
According to the Dawn, a Foreign Office official said that Rice will hold discussions with Prime Minister Sharif's Adviser on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Sunday.
During the meeting, Rice will finalise the agenda that is likely to include counter-terrorism cooperation, Afghanistan and nuclear security.
One of the key concerns of Pakistan is its deteriorating relations with India along with trade and other economy-related issues.
Rice has come to Islamabad after a Beijing visit, where she reportedly fine-tuned the agenda for Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to Washington next month.
