United States President Donald Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, is suing the Trump Organisation.
According to CNN, in his complaint, Cohen has stated that the organisation failed to fulfil its contractual obligations to pay his attorneys' fees relating to his work after he began cooperating with federal investigators.
Citing the congressional hearings and Mueller investigation and 130,000 USD payment to Stormy Daniels as examples of his work, Cohen took the legal action.
In his complaint, Cohen also said that the legal bills for the criminal investigations he faced amounts up to 1.9 million USD.
The filing states, "By failing to pay Mr Cohen's attorneys' fees and costs and other amounts incurred in connection with the matters, the Trump Organization has breached the indemnification agreement.
