A Texan man literally, got the shock of his life when lightning struck him twice in a single day.
Casey Wagner explained that he was visiting an off-road event in Saint Jo, Texas, when storm clouds started rolling in and he took shelter under a tree, ABC News reported.
Wagner, 31, who works as a rodeo clown, said that he first saw sparks splintering off the tree trunk and before he knew it, he was hit by a lightning bolt.
Wagner, who was conscious throughout the ordeal, asserted that he knew he was getting electrocuted and thought he was dying.
Before he hit the ground, a second bolt hit Wagner's right leg.
When Wagner started yelling for help in a paralyzed condition, an unidentified nurse came to his rescue and asked him to keep calm until paramedics arrived.
