Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has warned winger Memphis Depay to adapt to the team's philosophy and mentality else could flop like Angel di Maria and last season's loan signing Radamel Falcao.
The Dutchman revealed that his assistant Ryan Giggs has already guided Depay to focus on improving his performance, adding that he needs to respect his team's philosophy, the Mirror reported.
The 64-year-old, however, refused to discuss the things Depay needs to do to prove his potential, saying that he would only discuss with the player.
The 21-year-old forward has been struggling with form ever since he joined Old Trafford from PSV Eindhoven on a four-year contract in June.
The winger had earlier played an instrumental role in helping PSV secure their first Dutch title since 2008. He also scored 22 goals and was the top scorer of the 2014-15 season in the Eredivisie League.
