Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie has hailed young teammate Adnan Januzaj as one of the best talents he has ever seen and said that he is so good that he reminds the Dutch superstar of himself.

According to the Daily Star, Januzaj, 18, has burst on to the scene with the champions this season and the youngster scored twice on his full debut at Sunderland to inspire United to a 2-1 win.

He signed a bumper new five-year deal last week and is being hailed as the future of United and one of the best young talents in Europe, with star striker Van Persie labelling him 'special', the report said.

Van Persie said that he could say that Januzaj was one of the best out of all the young players he had seen and was a special player, adding that he was a great fan of his.

He added that Januzaj was confident in a good way and not too bothered with the occasion or the pressure of the games.

He further said that when he went back 10 years, he could see similar attributes that were there in him.
