After she wooed her fans with her performance on Grease
The 27-year-old actress took to her Twitter handle and wrote, "I can't believe @GoGrease is OVER! Grand opening and grand closing. Thank you to everyone who watched and supported me last night," reports E! Online.
"Doing #GreaseLive was one of the most incredible experiences and I'm so glad you guys liked it as much as I did. Till next time Rizz #PinkLadyForLife," her post further read.
Hudgens, who played Rizzo in the musical production, stole several scenes throughout the three-hour show and proved that the time-tested show buiz adage 'the show must go on' is a real thing.
Hudgens announced that her father Greg Hudgens passed away just hours before she performed in front of millions of viewers.
She tweeted, "I am so sad to say that last night my daddy, Greg passed away from stage 4 cancer. Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers. Tonight, I do the show in his honor."
At the end of the show, the ending credits paid tribute to Hudgens' late father.
