BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate Vasundhara Raje on Tuesday called on Rajasthan Governor Margaret Alva to stake claim to form the government following her party's landslide win in the Assembly polls.

The oath ceremony will take place on December 13.

Raje, who led the BJP to an emphatic majority victory in the Assembly elections, was yesterday elected the legislature party leader in Rajasthan.

Earlier, addressing the party MLAs, Raje asked them to make efforts to ensure an unprecedented victory for the party in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in the state.

The BJP on Sunday returned to power in Rajasthan after five years, winning a record 162 seats and leaving the Congress bruised with just 21 members in the 200-seat legislature.
