Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, more powers have been delegated to state governments and that the spirit of cooperative federalism has been upheld. He was speaking to media after a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Central flagship schemes.
Naidu informed Amarinder about the recent initiative of conducting review meetings across the country to take first hand report on all issues and to evaluate the status of various programs and initiatives related to his ministries.
Both also discussed areas of collaboration to facilitate the effective implementation of these flagship schemes.
