Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu took a metro ride on the airport express line on Monday and said that the metro should be made more popular.
"I am feeling proud. Metro rail system is a symbol of modern India. It should be more popularized. I hope that in coming days metro will become more popular. I want the metro authorities to work together and plan out more things," said Naidu.
"People want that it to be made more affordable. Besides, connectivity to the places from outside stations should be planned by the DMRC. Frequency should be made to increase. Overall, I am very happy about the metro rise system," he added.
