American tennis star Venus Williams has said that she wants to come to Auckland next year with her sister and world number one Serena Williams for the ASB Classic final as she had a great experience in New Zealand despite losing at the final to Ana Ivanovic.

While it has generally been a good week for Williams, she was disappointed to lose the ASB Classic and highlighted areas of the game she needs to improve.

According to Stuff.co.nz, Venus said that she has spoken to her sister, who has won the Brisbane International title, about coming back to New Zealand for 2015, as both of them support and believe in each other 100 percent.

Meanwhile, the former world number one admitted that she was not playing her best in the tournament, although she said that she fought hard as she could despite the score and just ran into a better player in Ivanovic, who has played well in the tournament.

However, the world number 36 said that she would continue to work on her serve and get it more consistent as she was slightly off rhythm, going a little too fast and the report said that although it is debatable whether at the age of 33 Williams can ever be the player she once was, but she did show that she is capable of getting back in the top 10.
