American tennis ace Venus Williams has revealed that she applies the principles from her professional life into the other parts of her life off the court.
One of the greatest female tennis players of all time, Williams, who won the seven Grand Slam Singles Titles, four Olympic Gold medals and has been ranked World No. 1 in singles on three separate occasions by the WTA, is also the second-ranked prize money earner among female tennis professionals.
In an exclusive interview with the Huffington Post, Williams said that her principles from her athletic life like being able to get through rough patches, making each defeat a learning experience, working hard, setting goals, understanding and reapplying success also translate into her life off the court.
Stating that she does not ever stop learning, Williams also said that if a person stops learning and making mistakes then he/she also stops moving forward, adding that she keeps giving herself mental boosts and also changes her strategy continuously if things does not work out for her.
