Seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams has affirmed that she has no plans to bring curtains on her illustrious career and is targeting a place in the American team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

While speaking in an interview during the TV show 'Home and Family', Williams confirmed her plans to play in the next Olympics.

"I'm kind of targeting the next Olympics [Tokyo 2020], and that's in, what, three-and-a-half years ... and I'm not counting," Williams was quoted as saying by Sport24.

The 36-year-old believes she can still clinch many more victories in the coming future.

"Where there's a will, there's a way, I definitely have the will, so I think I will keep finding the way. I feel like I'm going to get more [wins] as the future goes on," she added.

Regarded as one of the all-time greats of women's tennis, Williamson has grabbed seven singles grand slam titles, 14 grand slam doubles (with younger sister Serena) and 49 career singles titles.

She has also notched up four Olympic gold medals, one in singles and three in women's doubles event with Serena.
