Red Bull racing ace Sebastian Vettel has admitted that his new teammate Daniel Ricciardo has beaten him 'fair and square' so far this year.
Ricciardo has beaten the four-time Formula One champion three times in four races since replacing Vettel's former teammate Mark Webber.
According to the BBC, Vettel said that there is nothing between the cars so if the Australian beats him it is fair and square, although he admitted that it is not to his liking and he knows he has to do a little bit better.
Vettel said that he has been struggling to adjust with the 2014 Red Bull following this year's extensive rule changes in the sport.
Vettel, who is the defending champion having won the Formula One title four times in a row, said that this year is very, very different and the cars are different, adding that one cannot compare last year to this year.
However, Vettel said that Ricciardo is doing a very good job despite the rule change and that his teammate has not had one good weekend, but good weekends instead, the report added.
