Victoria Pendleton has confessed that retiring has given her a sense of freedom.
The 33-year-old former cyclist claimed that she feels lighter as a person, asserting that a lot of people have mentioned to her that she looks more relaxed and a lot happier, the Daily Express reported.
The Olympic gold medalist said that she took her job very seriously because as an athlete one only has a small amount of time to get it right.
She claimed that it's strange to have freedom, and to be able to do whatever she wants, and to try new stuff or change her mind, adding that it's really been a good fun, normal life.
