Vietnam has described U.S. State Department's annual religious freedom report as not objective and contains errors.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Le Hai Binh said the State Department has made unobjective assessments and mentioned erroneous information on Vietnam, the Washington Post reports.
He added that Vietnam's Constitution guarantees citizen rights on freedom of religions and belief.
The US report has quoted two dozen specific cases in Vietnam, where unregistered religious groups were maltreated by the government.
