Vin Diesel credits late friend Paul Walker for being his 'guide into fatherhood'

Vin Diesel has said that his late friend and co-star Paul Walker has been his "guide into fatherhood".

In a recent interview, the 47-year old actor said that Walker had prepared him to become a father and was always adamant that he should be present at the time of his child's birth, E! Online reported.

The 'Furious 7' star shared that, while shooting the last scene of a film, his wife's water had broke, and, it was Walker who insisted him to go, saying that the film could be completed later too.

He also added that while during the recent birth of his 3rd child', he could feel Walker's presence in the delivery room and hence named his daughter Pauline.

 

Diesel said while cutting the umbilical cord, he thought only about his late friend and "felt it like a way to keep his memory, as a part of his family and world.
