Portico New York, India's leading bed and bath fashion brand, has associated with India's largest comedy festival - The Weirdass Pajama Festival 2015. Taking advantage of the holiday weekend, the comedy festival ran to packed houses at all their venues in Mumbai, Pune and Delhi. Festival curator Vir Das also took some time off in between the shows to get a few selfies in.
A popular highlight at the Grand Pajama shows was the presence of a 'Happiness Is...' selfie bed. People who had come to watch the show, couldn't resists jumping onto the bed with their friends and family and going click-happy, taking back fun memories. Additionally, some lucky selfie-takers even took home surprise Portico New York hampers thanks to their hilarious!
Curated by one of India's most sought stand-up comic and actor, Vir Das, The Weirdass Pajama Festival is an annual property conceived by him, which ran to packed houses, drawing over 5000 people in its very first edition. Commencing on the 23rd of January 2015, the festival will be playing to comedy lovers at various venues across Mumbai, Delhi and Pune. This year the festival is scaling up, double the artists, adding more international names, running across 3 cities and expected to touch up to 10,000+ attendees.
The Weirdass this year collaborates with Portico New York as a "Powered By" sponsor as there is a synergy with the home fashion brand and it latest 'Happiness Is...' campaign. For The Weirdass Pajama Festival 2015, Portico New York has designed installations based on the theme and graphics that feature on the popular social media page titled - The Happy Page and is also now a part of Portico's fastest selling range aptly titled the Happiness Is... collection.
