Icelandic-Danish film 'Virgin Mountain' and Danish documentary 'Democrats' have won the top narrative feature and documentary awards, respectively, at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival.
Another Danish film, Jeppe Ronde's 'Bridgend,' also did well in the narrative categories, nabbing honors for actress (Hannah Murray), cinematography (Magnus Jonck) and editing (Oliver Bugge Coutte), the Deadline reported.
The winners were chosen from 101 feature films, 60 shorts and five immersive storytelling projects submitted from 38 countries, with 175,000 dollars in prize money distributed among them. The festival's winning films will be screened during the final day, April 26, at venues throughout New York City.
