North Korea has been planning to open its first multi-million dollar ski resort on Thursday, but there are doubts whether the resort will be ready in time.
According to the BBC, two hotels of the North Korean ski resort are still incomplete and its access road is filled with potholes.
There are also questions about who will use the resort once it's completed, the report added.
North Korea said that the Masik Pass ski resort will be a major boost to its economy and to its chances of achieving international sporting success with ski runs, ski lifts, resort chalets and sleigh rides on the list.
The ski resort is being built with the intention to show that Communist North Korea is as civilized and culturally advanced as any other country, despite its reputation for poverty and isolation, the report added.
