A tiny charity shop was reportedly flooded by scores of wannabe WAGs after England goalkeeper Ben Foster donated thousands of pounds worth of designer clothes.

The 200-luxury item haul included a 700 pounds pair of Christian Louboutin shoes being flogged for 50 pounds and a Stella McCartney sequin cardigan worth 855 pounds priced at just 55 pounds.

Fashion lovers queued hours before the Women's Aid charity shop in Shirley, West Midlands, opened yesterday morning as they had been alerted to the bargains after the West Bromwich Albion and England goalkeeper tweeted that he had dropped off a pile of his wife, Kate's unwanted threads, The Daily Star reported.

Foster had tweeted that he just dropped off a ton of Top designer women's clothes, shoes and children's toys at the Women's Aid charity shop on Stratford rd in Shirley, asking his fans to go and check it out.

Included in the four boxes and two bags of donated clothes were sunglasses by Chanel, Prada and Dior all which can be snapped up for 45 pounds each.

There were also two pairs of sought-after Victoria Beckham jeans available from 40 pounds.

Rachel Taylor, the retail manager for Women's Aid in Birmingham, said that she cannot believe it, adding that it is crazy around here. She said that normally they have been lucky to see a couple of people on a Monday but added that to have some queuing before they opened is madness.

Taylor said that she had been on holiday when Foster dropped all the clothes off but added that she knew about it quickly as he tweeted about it. She said that they are so grateful as not only is it a wonderful donation but the stopper has helped raise the profile of Women's Aid by tweeting them.

It took manager Ashleigh Healy six hours to price up the haul. She said that she had to look online to find out how much the clothes were worth, as they had no idea where to start.
