Former Pakistani cricketer Waqar Younis has expressed his concern over Australian bowler Sean Abbott's mental well being and his future in the game of cricket after he delivered a deadly bouncer that led to the death of Phillip Hughes.
Sympathising with Abbott, Waqar said that the bowler needed counseling in the wake of the tragedy and advised that he stayed calm, Dawn reported.
Hughes died Thursday after being hit by a bouncer at the base of the skull unprotected by the helmet during a domestic first class match in Sydney.
