Former coach Waqar Younis believes that new head coach Mickey Arthur will take the Pakistan cricket team to great heights and urged people not to 'expect too much, too soon' from his successor.

Arthur's first assignment begins in England, where Pakistan will play four Tests, five ODIs, and a T20 international starting this month.

Younis insisted that his country will blossom under the guidance of Arthur and added that the South African's previous experience in the coaching area would be beneficial for Pakistan, Sport24 reported.

The former pace spearhead also opined that honesty and patience will be the two key factors which will help Arthur achieve success with Pakistan.

Younis also suggested that former cricketers should be made cricket administrators because of their better understanding about the game as well as the domestic cricket.
