Warner Bros., Andy and Lana Wachowski and Joel Silver have won the lawsuit that contended that the blockbuster movie 'The Matrix' was a stolen idea.

The lawsuit was filed by Thomas Althouse in California federal court in 2013, who said that the suit was filed so late because plaintiff it was not till 2010 that he watched 'The Matrix Reloaded' and 'The Matrix Revolutions' and found that it resembled his 'The Immortals' script, the Hollywood Reporter reported.

He also said that he sent his script to Warner Bros. in 1993.

Judge R. Gary Klausner mentioned that the basic premises of the movie trilogy and 'The Immortals' were so different that it would be unfair to find their plots substantially similar.
