Former Congress MLA Mateen Ahmed on Wednesday alleged that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Rajesh Garg had contacted him over government formation in Delhi but did not offer him any money.
"Rajesh Garg did contact me over phone, also came to meet me, sought my support, said we will run the government together. I wasn't offered any money, they just asked for my support and said we will run the government together," said Ahmed.
AAP leader Ashish Khetan, meanwhile, called for a debate on the issue.
Earlier in the day, AAP's senior member from Maharashtra Anjali Damania quit over allegations of horse-trading against Kejriwal.
