Researchers have claimed that men who watch copious amounts of porn have less gray matter in brain.
The study was not able to determine if the adult films caused the brain to shrink.
For the study, the researchers recruited 64 male subjects in the age group of 21-45 "with a broad range of pornography consumption."
The men's brains were scanned with MRI technology while they were watching porn websites, along with non-sexual images.
The researchers said that their findings revealed that grey matter volume of the right caudate of the striatum is smaller with higher pornography use, the Guardian reported.
The research has been published in the journal JAMA Psychiatry.
