As Australia faced an embarrassing loss to England in the second Ashes Test at Lord's, Shane Watson's batting form has once again come under the scanner.

According to The Daily Telegraph, for the third time in four innings this series he was caught plumb in front plodding his front leg straight down the pitch to Jimmy Anderson.

The report said that this was a technical flaw in the all-rounder that the English had exploited and was the 10th time in 18 innings that they had removed him LBW.

Watson has now gone 43 Test innings without a century, while his average has dipped below 35, the report added.
