With the Supreme Court seeking the Centre's explanation over the imposition of President's rule in Arunachal Pradesh, former chief minister Nabam Tuki on Wednesday expressed confidence that the apex court would take the right decision.
"This matter is sub-judice and I have full faith in the Supreme Court. We will abide by the Supreme Court's decision. I trust the Supreme Court and I am confident that the court would take the right decision," Tuki told mediapersons here.
Samir Malik, the lawyer representing the Congress Party, said the apex court today asked the Centre to submit the report on the basis of which President's rule was imposed in the state.
"The court has issued notices to the Centre and Governor. They have to file their response by Friday. The court directed that date of report on the basis of which this proclamation was issued be given to us during course of the day.The Governor and Centre have been asked to submit their report in a sealed envelope before the court at the earliest," he said.
The Supreme Court earlier in the day issued notice to the Centre to file the reply by Friday.

Hearing the plea filed by Arunachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker and the Congress Party, the apex court expressed its displeasure to Governor Rajkhowa as to why the Supreme Court was not informed about the developments in the state.
President Pranab Mukherjee yesterday gave his assent to the Union Cabinet's recommendation for imposition of President's rule in Arunachal after being satisfied that the law and order in the border state was sensitive.
The Congress, which is determined to stall the ratification of President's rule in the state, is mulling both legal and political options to fight the same. The decision in this regard was taken at a meeting yesterday.
